Premier Alliance Contracted by Ring Container to Implement $240,000 of Cost Cutting Measures Through Southern California Edison's Automated Demand Response Program

CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwire - Nov 19, 2012) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc., (OTCQB: PIMO) a strategic advisory, services, and solutions firm focused on providing 360° Intelligence Delivery through our Knowledge Based Expertise ("KBE"), today announced that its Energy and Sustainability Division has been engaged to implement Southern California Edison's (SCE) Automated Demand Response (Auto-DR) program for Ring Container, a multinational corporation focused on finding sustainable solutions for the consumer packaging industry. Premier Alliance has identified $240,000 of incentives from SCE that will be applied towards enabling Auto-DR. Once installed and operational, SCE will be able to call upon Ring Container to voluntarily load shed up to 800 kW of electricity during peak usage periods.

The scope of the project includes installation of control systems that will allow the safe and systematic shutdown of heavy facility equipment in Ring Container's multiple production lines along with multiple chillers, compressors and manufacturing lights, all based on pricing and performance signals from SCE. This functionality will allow Ring Container to take advantage of SCE's Demand Bidding Program, which offers rebates on a kWh basis and could represent over $3,000 of utility savings for each Demand Response event.
