VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 29, 2011) -

NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Premier Diagnostic Health Services Inc. (CNSX:PDH) announces the election of five new board members at its Annual General Meeting today. Adding to Denis Tusar and Ken Tolmie as continuing directors, Eliza Fung, Ross Greenwood, Dr. Brian Lentle, Ron McKerrow, and Geoffrey Waters have joined the board.

"We are working hard to effect a successful transition from a founder-led private company to a properly governed public company responsive to the legitimate needs of all shareholders. We believe that we have succeeded in overcoming many of the obstacles that companies face when making such a transformation, including the development of a framework in which the principal founder can continue to lead our key business development initiatives and build the business, while being part of a team that can structure and manage the Company into consistent, long-term profitability," said John Smith, Co-CEO of the Company.

Eliza Fung is the President of Ciewest Enterprises, with offices in Vancouver and Guangzhou, China. She is a Canadian citizen with extensive experience in Sino-Canadian businesses and has been of great assistance to us in communicating with and negotiating with business interests in China.

Ross Greenwood is a management consultant, having been a senior consultant, and partner with Ernst and Whinney (now part of KPMG). His experience in industrial marketing, consumer marketing, operations assessment, comprehensive auditing, human resources management and organizational development has been invaluable to the Transition Management Team over the last month.

Dr. Brian Lentle has a distinguished career in radiology and nuclear medicine, including the presidency and gold medal recipient of the Radiological Society of North America and the Canadian Society of Radiologists, and Emeritus Member and President's Award recipient of the Canadian Society of Nuclear Medicine. He is a prolific publisher of articles, papers and book chapters. He has a long standing interest in the radiology of osteoporosis, and is on many boards and committees dealing with that subject. Dr. Lentle was the first Medical Director of a predecessor company to Premier, IPET, and we are delighted to have his involvement with us again.

Ron McKerrow has his own health care consulting company, Consilio Consulting with both public and private sector clients in the health care delivery, pharmaceutical, procurement, services and academic sectors. He previously was a senior executive with the Provincial Health Services Authority. The BC Cancer Agency is under the PHSA's jurisdiction.

Geoffrey Waters is a long-time shareholder of Premier and he is the President and CFO of his own independent company, Great Pacific Wood Products Inc. His background includes management, consulting, purchase negotiating, marketing, and wholesale distribution.

With these new appointments comes the departure of one Board member. Stepping down from the Board is John G. Smith.

The Board has confirmed the continued mandate of the Transition Management Team (TMT) to develop the Company's Business Plan and to make recommendations to the Board for implementation. The TMT members are Larry Straith, Ross Greenwood, Denis Tusar, Ken Tolmie and John Smith. The TMT expects to report out to the Board in early May, 2011. Until then, the Board has appointed the same officers as before, being Denis Tusar, Co-CEO, John Smith, Co-CEO, and Kenneth Tolmie, CFO.

The Report to Shareholders presented at the Annual General Meeting will be circulated to shareholders shortly.
