Press Conference: Launch of Not Myself Today National Campaign

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 2, 2012) - Have you ever had a day when you didn't feel like yourself? You're not alone. Imagine what it must feel like to not feel like yourself for more than one day. 1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental illness this year - this is a staggering fact we can no longer ignore. Mental health in Canada comes with many negative connotations and mass underfunding, leaving those who need assistance undiagnosed and unsupported. We want to encourage Canadians to transform the way they think about and act towards mental health, and we need your help to make a change.

Please join us today at 12:00pm at the Gardiner Museum - 111 Queens Park as we launch Not Myself Today - a national campaign presented by Partners for Mental Health that will rally Canadians from coast-to-coast to take a pledge of support for mental health and 'pin' their mood to a digital map of Canada.

The time is now. Almost every Canadian is touched by mental health problems and illnesses whether direct or indirectly.
