Press convocation - Historical presence of five Innu Chiefs in Ottawa

OTTAWA, Nov. 24 / An important delegation composed of five Innu Chiefs and thirty elders will be traveling from northern Quebec to Ottawa, on Thursday, November 26, and will be at the office of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, as well as the Parliament buildings, asserting their territorial rights. The media is invited to meet the delegation during their AM session at the office of the Minister and, in the afternoon, at the Parliament for a press conference before the question/answer period the delegation plans to attend.
