The financial group Glitnir, with headquarters in Reykjavik, Iceland, and offices and operations in 11 countries, focuses on geothermal energy as one of three global niche segments (seafood/food and offshore supply is the two other global nice segments). Glitnir is one of the leading players in capital market services in Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, ranked by volume on OMX and Oslo Stock Exchange. Link: Nordic Economic Outlook. Glitnir aims to develop the "Steam of Opportunities" conference into an annual, global think tank for the geothermal energy field.
