LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - September 26, 2016) - Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the technology arm of Prime Focus, the world's largest media services powerhouse, is pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a patent expanding upon the company's existing patents for its DAX® with Digital Dailies®, part of PFT's DAX® Production Cloud. This patent is a continuation of the original patent and applies to a broader usage of Digital Dailies® and collaborative workflows.
The new patent, issued as U.S. Patent No. 13, 903,908 is for "system and method for media content collaboration throughout a media production process," broadening previous patents, No. 12,976,929 received in 2015, No. 8,218,764, in 2013, and No. 7,660,416, in 2010.
