The Calgary Airport Authority is adding new health care services at Calgary International Airport (YYC) in welcoming PrimeCARE Health, a full-service medical clinic opening this week at the airport. The PrimeCARE Health clinic at YYC will offer walk-in and family doctor services for passengers and members of the airport community and those in surrounding neighbourhoods looking for a modern and convenient health care provider in the heart of northeast Calgary.

"This is the first airport location for PrimeCARE Health, and is an impressive new service offering for the airport community and our passengers," said Don Kolsun, Director, Commercial & Retail Development for The Calgary Airport Authority. "We are focused on offering a wide-range of services to all airport users and this latest addition showcases YYC's commitment to ensuring our passengers, partners and community have access to a variety of health and wellness options."

The clinic is the latest service offering available at Canada's third busiest airport, which currently boasts 135 shops and services that are available to more than 15.26 million passengers each year, and the more than 24,000 employees who work at the airport, 11,000 of which work directly in the terminal building at YYC.

"PrimeCARE Health is delighted to join the YYC community and we look forward to serving the health and wellness needs of the growing employee base and passenger mix," said James Foster, President of PrimeCARE Health. "Our diverse service offering and friendly staff will be a great fit in this dynamic environment."

PrimeCARE offers complete health care services including family and walk-in medical, occupational health, physical therapy and therapeutic/rehabilitative massage therapy. The PrimeCARE approach is patient-centered with an emphasis on preventing disease, promoting wellness and treating injury and illness. Those visiting the facility at YYC can also enjoy complimentary two-hour patient parking. For more information, please visit primecarehealth.ca.
