Princeton Power Systems to Exhibit and Speak at the Solar Power International Show

PRINCETON, NJ--(Marketwired - Sep 8, 2015) -  Princeton Power Systems, a leading global designer and manufacturer of technology products and embedded software for energy storage, microgrid operations, and electric vehicle charging, announced today that they will be exhibiting and presenting a poster of their Annobon Island and Alcatraz Island projects, at the Solar Power International Show: September 14^th - September 17^th at the Anaheim Convention Center. Princeton Power Systems' Booth is #2002. 

Annobon Island is one of Princeton Power Systems' recent microgrid projects in Annobon Province, Equatorial Guinea. The island has a population of about 5,000 residents who are restricted to just 5 hours of electricity each day. The electricity that is provided to them is not only painstakingly minimal, but the residents spend 15-20% of their income on this supplemental power. Princeton Power Systems and partners are working together on a solar and battery microgrid that will significantly reduce costs and also provide reliable electricity for 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

Darren Hammell, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Princeton Power, will present "Alcatraz to Africa -- Operating a Solar Microgrid to Deliver 100% of the Islands Energy" on Wednesday, September 16^th from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in HALL D. The presentation will detail the design and technology of the largest self-sufficient solar power microgrid in all of Africa.
