Priscilla Lopes-Schliep Olympic Bronze Medalist Returns Home

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 10, 2008) - Canadian Olympic 100m hurdles bronze medalist, Priscilla Lopes-Schliep will be returning back to Toronto on September 14th at 2:35pm at the Pearson International Airport.

Lopes-Schliep, who hails from Whitby, Ontario was considered by many to be an underdog to reach the Olympic final. However she proved all wrong and rose to the occasion bringing home the lone track and field medal for Canada. This is the first medal in track and field for Canada since 1996 when Donovan Bailey and the 4x100m team claimed gold in Atlanta.

"This medal represents years of hard work and dedication paying off for our client; in light of her performance we are now in negotiation with many top shoe manufacturers, eye wear providers and many other companies looking to associate with her image and up-beat personality." Her agent from The Surin Group was quoted saying.

Lopes-Schliep has not been home since her departure for Beijing in August. We encourage everyone to show their support and greet her upon her return.
