Private Healthcare Systems Adds Advantage Care Network to Its PPO Network

Agreement Adds More Than 500 Providers to Preferred Provider Organization in Southwest Idaho

WALTHAM, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 23, 2005 -- Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS), the nation's leading health care cost management company, and largest proprietary PPO, today announced the addition of Advantage Care Network to its PPO network.

Advantage Care Network (ACN), a subsidiary of St. Alphonsus, represents a diverse group of health care facilities and providers in Ada and Canyon counties, including Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and Mercy Medical Center in Nampa. These facilities are instrumental for delivering health care to surrounding communities. This relationship brings more than 500 providers to the PHCS Network in Southwest Idaho.

Mercy Medical Center provides the Nampa community with emergency medicine, surgical services, labs, physical therapies, urgent care and an imaging center.
