Private Healthcare Systems Names Frank Jackson Chief Information Officer

WALTHAM, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 3, 2005 -- Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS) today announced the promotion of Frank Jackson to Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Jackson joined PHCS in March as Vice President, Applications Delivery. In his new role as CIO, he will be responsible for building the strategic framework for the company's information systems including Data Center Operations, Technical Services, Applications Development, Strategic Planning, Business Systems Planning, Telecommunications, Desktop Services and Systems Engineering.

Prior to joining PHCS, Mr. Jackson served as Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina. He also served as Chief Information Officer at Kaiser Permanente of North Carolina, where he had full IT responsibility supporting provider and clinical systems needs.
