Private Michelle Berry Found Safe

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - May 8, 2011) - The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service (CFNIS), working in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Winnipeg Police Service, and local Military Police, successfully located Private Michelle Recksiedler-Berry in the early morning hours of Sunday, 8 May, 2011.

Pte Berry was found by investigators in the Winnipeg area, unharmed. She was immediately transported to hospital for assessment.

The CFNIS would like to thank the members of the public who came forward with information on the investigation.

The CFNIS is an independent Military Police unit with a mandate to investigate serious and sensitive matters in relation to National Defence property, DND employees, and CF personnel serving in Canada and abroad.
