Pro AV Announces Spotlight Awards

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - March 25, 2008) - Pro AV magazine, published by Hanley Wood, LLC, today announces a new design competition for the audiovisual community. The Pro AV Spotlight Awards will recognize the best professional audio video installations designed for commercial, corporate, educational or other non-residential applications. Awards will be given to projects demonstrating effective collaboration among integrators, designers, architects and end-users.

"The Pro AV Spotlight Awards are exciting, both for Pro AV and our readers," says Brad Grimes, Editor of Pro AV. "The awards represent an important new way for us to engage directly with installers, integrators, consultants and end users of nonresidential AV systems. Awards will be given in 8 installation categories:

--  Government/Health Care
--  Entertainment/Arts
--  Hospitality/Restaurant/Casino
--  Judges' Awards (for all other non-residential installs)

Entries will be judged by a panel of Pro AV editors, contributors, and AV systems integrators/consultants.

Each winning project will be featured in the September 2008 issue of Pro AV magazine and on Pro AV Online ( They will also appear in ARCHITECT magazine, which is read by 65,000 practicing architects and design professionals working on non-residential projects.
