Pro-Or Resumes Drilling at its Menarik Property in James-Bay, Quebec

4,000 metres will be drilled on nickel and chromite showings

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 27, 2007) - Ressources Minieres Pro-Or Inc. ("Pro-Or") (TSX VENTURE:POI) is pleased to announce the resumption of drilling on its Menarik property in James Bay, which hosts substantial platiniferous chromite mineralization. The work will be supervised by Yvan Bussieres, a geological engineer.

The current program represents Phase 1 of drilling to be done in 2007, and consists of a total of 4,000 metres to be drilled in 28 holes. The last drilling program, carried out in December 2006, revealed two new zones strongly mineralized in nickel and cobalt and enriched with a few grams of platinum and palladium (see press release dated 19-02-07). Very good chromite-bearing zones were also intercepted during the program.

The Menarik property covers nearly 2,908 hectares. It is known to host 33 platiniferous chromite occurrences and 62 surface gold showings. The nickel and copper sulfide showings occur in association with the platinum-group metals. An initial, 43-101-compliant resource calculation performed in early 2006 by Groupe conseil Roche Ltee. for four chromite zones estimated a resource of 5.3 million tonnes in the measured and indicated categories at an average grade of 7.84% Cr2O3.

About Pro-Or

Founded in 1986, Pro-Or is active in the exploration of mining properties with a view to commercial production. With the participation of the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Pro-Or has also developed a process for recovering PGM (platinum-group metals) from recycled automotive catalytic converters. This process has been patented and is now in the commercialization phase. The engineering and equipment selection for a small-scale industrial plant have been completed.
