ProactiveNet Announces Record 2004 Fourth Quarter and Year End Results

Market Demand for Quick Problem Resolution Capabilities and Real-Time SLA Management Features Help Propel Record Growth

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 8, 2005 -- ProactiveNet Inc., the privately held technology leader in real-time application, SLA, and infrastructure performance analytics, today announced record fourth quarter and fiscal year end results. In fiscal 2004, the company achieved year-over-year revenue growth of 40%, versus fiscal year end 2003. The company also experienced its most successful sales quarter to date, with 2004 fourth quarter sales surpassing results from the same period in 2003 by 64%.

"We are quite pleased with our 2004 results, as we have exceeded our objectives and the objectives of our board," said Ajay Singh, president and CEO of ProactiveNet. "As we continue to gain traction among enterprise organizations, our goals for 2005 are considerably more aggressive."

In 2004, ProactiveNet's technology continued its growth trajectory within Fortune 1000 and larger e-commerce organizations. Some of the new customers in 2004 include Jeppesen, Sabre, Classified Ventures, Marshall & Swift, and a major division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Indicative of the technology's manageability, scalability, and quantifiable value, contract renewals and license expansions among its existing customer base also reached record highs.

Highlights of 2004 include the successful launch of ProactiveNet 6.0, which introduced the product's ability to directly link SLA performance trends with performance of the IT infrastructure. ProactiveNet's unique ability to analyze performance data in real-time across the end-to-end infrastructure empowers companies to quickly identify and resolve performance problems before they affect end users or SLA compliance. Also in 2004, ProactiveNet was bestowed its second consecutive Product of the Year Award from Network Computing magazine, heralded as "an unprecedented feat" by the editors.

"It's an exciting time to be part of the ProactiveNet team," added Singh. "We've already added several new members to our sales force in this quarter alone, and plan to grow the sales organization by more than 150% by fiscal year end for 2005. Given the growth of the sales team, combined with significant enhancements to our flagship product to be announced later this year, ProactiveNet is poised for another record-breaking year."
