To keep up with demand, Hotels.com utilizes two data centers and about 700 servers. ProactiveNet's dynamic baselining technology, called Intelligent Thresholds, automatically learns the normal operating behavior of the Hotels.com IT infrastructure environment, and provides early warning when a performance attribute is outside of its normal range but has not yet affected service delivery. The preemptive problem resolution, combined with the tool's ability to help the IT team make proactive capacity planning decisions, helped Hotels.com achieve ROI within a month of ProactiveNet's deployment.
