Probe Updates Flow Rates at South Timbalier 214

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS--(Marketwire - Feb. 18, 2009) - Probe Resources Ltd. (the "Company" or "Probe") (TSX VENTURE:PBR) is pleased to provide an update on flow rates on its South Timbalier 214 A-6 Sidetrack #1 well located in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The production rate has been ramped up over the last two weeks to a sustained flow rate in excess of 35 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMCFD) and 450 barrels of condensate per day (BCPD) with a flowing tubing pressure (FTP) of 8,600 pounds per square inch (PSIG). Probe holds a 100% working interest ("WI") and a 70% net revenue interest ("NRI") in the well.
