ProBility to Donate a Portion of ASME Profits to Hurricane Harvey Flood Victims

ProBility's Charitable Donation to be Distributed through Jewish Federation of Greater Houston

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Aug 30, 2017) -  ProBility Media Corp. (OTCQB: PBYA), an EdTech company building the first full-service training and career advancement brand for the skilled trades, today announced that it has committed a portion of its profits realized this month from its initiative to deliver the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) to victims that have suffered losses as a result of Hurricane Harvey. ProBility's donation will be distributed through the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston.

"The Jewish Federations of North America have opened an emergency relief fund to support communities and individuals in Houston, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi and other areas of Texas that have been hammered by Hurricane Harvey," said Noah Davis, President and Chief Operating Officer. "We are very fortunate that our employees are safe and our facilities have not experienced any damage. As a Houston-based company, we will do whatever we can to support the community, including donating a portion of this month's 2017 BPVC release profits to assist the victims of this perilous storm."

ASME releases its Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) every two years in August (the ASME BPVC Release) and has just released its new code for 2017. In 2015, Brown Technical Media, a ProBility subsidiary, had more than $750,000 in sales specific to the 2015 ASME BPVC Release which represented approximately 2% of ASME BPVC sales during the 2015 cycle. There are over 7,500 companies on the National Board list that are required to purchase the BPVC codes in order to pass inspection with ASME. Brown is one of only 4 approved vendors in the U.S. and one of the 16 approved vendors worldwide.

"ProBility has been taking pre-sale orders of the ASME BPVC release for over 6 months and has recently commenced shipping," commented Evan Levine, Chief Executive Officer. "We have already shipped over $1.0 million in orders and anticipate up to an additional $1.5 million in orders during the remainder of 2017, representing over a 300% increase from the previous 2015 sales cycle."

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe via continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach. ASME is an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. ASME is today multidisciplinary and global and has over 140,000 members in 158 countries worldwide.
