ProcessUnity Introduces SAS 70 Solution

Announcement Signals Company's Move Into Compliance Software Market

WALTHAM, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- ProcessUnity today announced that it is extending its product suite to include internal controls management software, with an initial focus on SAS 70 compliance. To underscore its commitment to the rapidly emerging compliance software market, ProcessUnity has made two key additions to its management team.

Dave Tilkin has been named President, and Bob Eunson has been named Vice President, for ProcessUnity Compliance Solutions.

"We're very excited to have industry pros like Dave Tilkin and Bob Eunson on board," said Todd Stone, ProcessUnity's President and CEO. "Both of these individuals have extensive background in the compliance arena, as well as deep understanding of the financial services industry, one of the principal markets for our new SAS 70 solution."

Tilkin was founder and CEO of Protegent, Inc., where he was instrumental in developing software that changed the process by which financial service companies supervise registered employees, manage quality of practice, and mitigate risk. After Protegent's acquisition by SunGard in 2005, Tilkin served as Managing Director of Compliance Products for SunGard. Tilkin will spearhead ProcessUnity's compliance-related go to market efforts, beginning with its new offering, Comply SAS 70.

Eunson is the former Vice President of Risk and Audit Management for Fidelity Information Systems Company, where he was responsible for implementing SAS 70, SysTrust, and Sarbanes/Oxley programs. Eunson will use his deep compliance expertise to help ProcessUnity's customers and partners get the most out of their SAS 70 programs.

ProcessUnity is also announcing that the beta program for Comply SAS 70 is now underway. A web-based controls management solution for companies pursuing SAS 70 attestations, Comply SAS 70 helps companies assure their customers of in-control operations, reduce the risk of audit failure, and decrease the time and cost associated with compliance controls management and audit preparation.
