Procima Experts and vCube Solutions Join Forces

The merger of the two companies will create a unique range of products and services to meet all an organization's business intelligence needs

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 11, 2015) - Procima Experts, a leader in the field of business intelligence (BI) consulting services, data management and predictive analytics, is proud to announce that it is joining forces with vCube Solutions, a firm specializing in state-of-the-art BI solutions.

This merger is a result of the rapid growth of Procima Experts in recent years, which has required it to broaden its range of products in order to respond to a growing demand for powerful, user-friendly decision support tools. The merger creates a unique blend of expertise: on the one hand, a business intelligence solution developed by vCube Solutions for financial management and on the other hand, the rigour of Procima Experts, whose work is focused exclusively on business intelligence in Quebec, with more than 40 specialists.

Much more than simply a response to the objectives of Procima Experts, the merger provided an opportunity for a thorough review of the organization's management. As a result, Procima Experts co-founder Éric Bélanger is now its president and a partner, and Patricia Bonnel, is vice president of operations. Two new partners join the organization: Luc Landreville and Benoît Girard, both from vCube Solutions. Jean-François Pilon and Marc-Éric Larocque, two of the three founders of Procima Experts, are making career changes. Mr. Pilon will continue to work with the company, focusing on assisting clients as a consultant, and in the short-term, Mr. Larocque will focus on a publishing project in his field of ΓÇïΓÇïexpertise.

"Procima Experts' successes have helped us attract the most prominent industry experts," said company president Éric Bélanger. Procima Experts has built a solid reputation for quality. The addition of the specialists at vCube Solutions enriches this concentration of talent and will help us achieve our objectives."

"Our combined expertise responds to the desire of organizations to take full advantage of their data," said Luc Landreville, who became a partner of Procima Experts following the merger. In this context, business intelligence specialists must not only provide powerful services and products, but they must also offer strong expertise in development and integration, and the merger allows us to do this."

"Procima Experts has reached a critical stage in its evolution," said Marc-Éric Larocque, a former partner in the company. Given the size and magnitude the company has reached, the time was right for Jean-François Pilon and myself to take another look at our personal goals and those of the organization."

The two companies now constitute a single organization, but will continue to conduct business under their own names.
