PRESCOTT, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- PRODUCE SAFETY AND SECURITY INTERNATIONAL, INC. (PINKSHEETS: PDSC), ("PDSC"), an ozone and chemical sanitation disinfectant process supplier to the food and medical industries, provides a Cost effective Food Safe Process for providing Food Safe Produce for the Foodservice, Military Procurement Troop Issue and Commissary, Hospitals, Retail Grocery Produce Sections and Restaurant-Hotel Industries.

Food Safe Plant Process

Ozone pressure cleaned daily as need be or at least 2 times each shift per day, also the use of Spherequat 6400 walls White in color with the capability of being sanitized at all times or stainless steel panels. This is a continuous process thus saving time at end of shift clean up. Floors walls and ceilings must be coated or of material that can be ozone pressure cleaned at least 2 to 4 times daily as the packing line equipment is being ozone cleaned and Spherequat 6400 sanitized. This is a continuous process room that must meet all our chemical standards that meet or exceed the USDA & FDA criteria. Food Safe Standards meet or exceed what the USDA & FDA is now using. All processing equipment will be of stainless steel. All lighting will meet or exceed the USDA & FDA guidelines. The PDSC process starts by bringing the product in to the facility for processing with the ozone process. This process begins with the untreated product dumped into a stainless steel dump tank going up to an elevated belt to a grading table on a continuous belt after the grading process the product proceeds through the ozone spray wash then to the air and heat dryer, after the drying process the product continues on the ozone sanitized belt for packing in sanitized containers to be delivered to the ozone sanitized storage area. Prior to the product going to the storage area it is third party chemical analysis tested and reviewed. Each lot is chemically tested for e Coli H157, Salmonella and Listeria. When the product leaves the sanitized storage area it is delivered to the client in a certified ozone sanitized truck with a third party chemical analysis certified inspection the truck meets all the sanitized conditions for delivery. This process provides a food safe product to the end user. The process meets the regulations of the FDA, USDA, HACCP and APHIS. The process provides a complete check and balance with the continuing process of chemical analysis for all pathogens providing a Food Safe Product to the consumer. PDSC process is able to monitor the product all through the food chain providing an audit trail for food illness outbreaks in the chain. The PDSC process can be used at the retail level in each produce section of the store. The truck sanitization by ozone will be temperature range of water/ozone will be 55 to 65 degrees F. The temperature for the processing room will maintain 60 to 65 degrees F. Each refrigerated storage room will maintain proper storage temperatures required for each product. One room 34 to 36 degrees F, others will be 38 to 41 degrees, 44 to 48 degrees, 52 to 56 degrees. Will use ozone gas and water mix for the packing line, water temperature will be 55 to 65 degrees F. Ozone generators will be in all refrigerated storage areas providing a pathogen free atmosphere environment at temperature range of 34 to 36 degrees F. The truck sanitization by ozone will be temperature range of water/ozone will be 55 to 65 degrees F. The pathogen reduction target will be at least 4 LOGS this reduction exceeds the current requirements by FDA & USDA. Construction of distribution centers will be of material that is fire restraint, solar panel energy and insulation from cold and heat to maintain a constant temperature desired for each food safe product.
