Produce Safety & Security International Inc. Submits Ozone Gas Proposals to the Fumigation Industry Servicing the Fresh and Frozen Produce Products for the Gulf Coast Ports

Proposals Address Key Concerns From Government Regulatory Agencies to Discontinue the Use of Methyl Bromide

PRESCOTT, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2006 -- PRODUCE SAFETY & SECURITY INTERNATIONAL, INC. (OTC: PDSC), ("PDSC"), an ozone and chemical sanitation disinfectant process supplier to the Food Industry and Medical/Dental Facilities, has supplied proposals to several Fumigation Companies, servicing the fresh and frozen produce products at our Gulf Coast Ports, to use PDSC's Standard Operating Procedure, (SOP) program for the use of Ozone Gas. PDSC's Ozone Gas product is designed to address key concerns from Government Regulatory Agencies to discontinue the use of the fumigant, Methyl Bromide.

The Ozone Gas process is believed to be a superior alternative for several reasons. The Ozone Gas process provides a faster and more cost effective fumigant, which leaves no residue. Ozone Gas is even more efficient at lower temperatures and eliminates the need to raise the product temperature. Produce will maintain a better quality since there will be no rise in storage temperature, which quickens the ripening process. Shelf Life is also extended by removing the Bacteria and Pathogens, which cause Food Borne Illnesses and product breakdown.

The proposals are the first, follow-up, phase of PDSC's recently completed cost savings proposal for Gulf Coast Ports, tailored for ports which house refrigerated marine terminals or provide operational services for fresh and frozen produce and other products. Proposals were sent to several Fumigation Companies servicing the Gulf Coast Ports of Houston, Tampa and Galveston, as well as San Pedro, Long Beach and Philadelphia.

Clarence W. Karney, CEO of Produce Safety & Security International, stated, "We structured the proposals in a format that educates the fumigation service providers to the many issues surrounding fumigation, while at the same time highlighting the various benefits which the Ozone Gas process provides." Mr Karney continues by stating, "Fumigation service providers are not unlike other businesses that are looking to improve their bottom line, so we also stressed our various cost effectiveness advantages and improved efficiencies ranging from decreased fumigation time, to superior storage temperature issues."
