Produce Safety & Security International, Inc.'s CEO to Meet With Gulf Coast Seaport Representatives for the Implementation of Ozone Equipment System

IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - December 10, 2007) - Produce Safety & Security International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PDSS) is pleased to announce that the Company's CEO Clarence W. Karney will begin meeting with Gulf Coast seaport representatives to discuss the placement of its ozone equipment system for the sterilization of produce brought into the United States. The Company expects to visit with reps from key ports including the port of New Orleans, which had all food and produce imports and exports diverted to east coast ports during Hurricane Katrina.

The Company is also scheduled to meet with several large companies in the produce industry, including the world's largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables. Produce Safety's ozone system would reduce the amount of exposure fresh produce has to harmful bacteria and pesticides, as well as extending its shelf life while awaiting inspections and approval. The Company's ozone equipment system would also be used in the sterilization of trucks and ships used to move the produce from its point of origin to stores and distribution centers.
