Produce Safety & Security International, Inc.'s New Ozone High Pressure Unit to Be Used for Removal of Bacteria From Food Processing Plants

IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - August 28, 2007) - Produce Safety & Security International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PDSF) is pleased to announce that the manufacturing Company has developed equipment to distribute high pressure ozone for the removal of E.coli OH157:H7 from fresh produce, meat and poultry processing plants. The Company will provide a thorough check and balance system to maintain the ozone gas, along with a continuing process of chemical analysis providing pathogen free and bacteria free products to the consumer.

The new unit provides an economical, cost saving process to protect all types of food. The ozone product will provide a solution for complete sanitation and disinfection of meat processing plants, truck and container shipping, dairy operations and disaster clean up. The Company will be displaying the unit at the Produce Marketing Association Convention in Houston, Texas, in October of 2007. The Company is currently operating the technology at its facility in Irving, Texas.

Recently, the Company announced the test results for Spherequat 1000, Spherequat 5500, and Spherequat 6400. The Spherequat products were tested, and proved to be effective in the removal and reduction of food borne illnesses such as E.coli OH157:H7, Salmonella and Staphylococcus.
