Smartwear Pioneer Joins Infinity AR's Advisory Board; Company Is Developing Software Applications for Future Wearable and Augmented Reality Devices; First Solutions to Roll Out by Mid 2014

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2014) - Infinity Augmented Reality, Inc. ("Infinity Augmented Reality" or "Infinity AR") (OTCQB: ALSO), the first augmented reality software platform to connect universally with digital eyewear, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and connected cars, announced today that Steve Mann PhD, known as the father of wearable computers, has joined Infinity AR's Advisory Board.

Steve Mann is the originator, and innovator of wearable computing, and 35 years ago invented digital glass. He has been the spearhead in all aspects of augmented reality, and is the inventor of the EyeBorg camera which was named one of the 50 Best Inventions of the Year by TIME Magazine. His book "CYBORG: Digital Destiny and Human Possibility in the Age of the Wearable Computer," was the inspiration for a motion picture film about his life, said by POV to be Canada's most important film of the year.

Mann will bring his decades of experience and unrivaled familiarity in the wearable medium to the Infinity team, and will assist the company in its efforts to build the first generation of native software for wearable platforms, and devices that will play a key role in the augmented reality revolution. Mann said: "It is an honor for me to accept a position on the Technology Advisory Board of Infinity Augmented Reality. As Chief Scientist of Metaview( and as Director of the Digital Eye Glass Laboratory ( at University of Toronto, I can see many areas that overlap unequivocally with Augmediated Relevance as well as my work in Augmediated Reality and Wearable Interaction Design."

Infinity AR's CEO Enon Landenberg said: "If you look up the word 'inspiration' in the dictionary, you will find Steve Mann's picture. It is quite clear that none of us would be working in this amazing field if not for the groundbreaking work of Mann, whose addition to the Infinity AR advisory board is a ringing endorsement of the work of our dynamic team of designers and innovators. We are positively elated about what we can achieve together in the future."

Infinity AR announced in mid-2013 that it invested and formed a strategic alliance with Meta, the developer of mega-view augmented reality glasses, of which Mann is a head scientist. Infinity AR has generated much traction and momentum in the augmented reality field and is set to soar with the advent of Google Glass. Additionally the company is planning to release its first set of platforms for the end user, by mid-2014.

About Augmented Reality
Augmented reality is a medium in which real sensory inputs are enhanced, or augmented, with relevant digital information from the Internet. Using specially equipped eyewear, virtual images, video, and sound are superimposed for the user over what is actually seen and heard, heightening the real-life experience with additional information that is pertinent, informative, practical and entertaining. The individual user may also be fully immersed in a virtual world, temporarily blocking out real surroundings. With augmented reality, sensory inputs are no longer limited to what is within eyeshot or earshot, but may incorporate, in real-time, all that the network has to offer.

Augmented reality requires an interface, such as digitally-enhanced eyewear, that can instantaneously overlay virtual images and video on top of what is actually experienced. Companies like Google and Lumus are in the process of developing augmented reality glasses that will change the way users see and interact with the world. Infinity AR will utilize its augmented reality applications through these glasses and through other mobile devices including smart phones. As the individual changes his or her visual perspective the sights that are overlaid change accordingly. The eyewear incorporates audio speakers that add virtual sounds to the experience, as well as microphones that capture and interpret the user's spoken commands through speech recognition technology in order to summon desired information and actions.
