MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2014) - Prolitec Inc. has announced the appointment of Merilly Hessburg as Vice President, Global Customer Care for its AirQ ambient scenting and indoor air quality services.
From her base in the company's Milwaukee headquarters, Hessburg will be responsible for directing the team involved with maintaining customer satisfaction for the 50,000-plus installations in North America and 70 countries abroad.
Hessburg joins Prolitec from Despatch Industries, a subsidiary of ITW, where she was Director and General Manager of the Global Service Business for the company's Solar, Carbon Fiber and Thermal Business Units. In that role, she had P&L responsibility for all service labor, contract, warranty and spares business, as well as, field technical support and training. Prior to assuming that post, Hessburg was Director of Process/Applications and Research & Development for the Solar, Carbon Fiber and Thermal Business Units.
From 2007 to 2011, Hessburg was Vice President of Sales and Business Development for SoftLake Solutions, a Minneapolis-based provider of business intelligence software.
She began her career in 1992 at FSI International in Minneapolis, as Director of Service Operations for the Surface Conditioning Division, before relocating to California's Silicon Valley in 1997 to become Director of Equipment Engineering Development at Seagate Technology and later General Manager and Technical Director of Lam Research's Product Knowledge and Integrated Productivity Solutions business groups.
