Prolitec Names Sawyer Director of Engineering


MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwire - Apr 3, 2012) - Prolitec Inc., a leading developer of air treatment, scenting and air care technologies, today announced the appointment of Brian D. Sawyer as director of engineering.

In his new position, Sawyer, who is based in Milwaukee, will report to Dr. Craig Kelly, Prolitec vice president of technology.

Sawyer comes to Prolitec with more than 13 years of semiconductor packaging and technology related experience. Most recently, he was engineering manager for Ventiva, Inc., in Santa Clara, Calif., where he was responsible for developing the Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) cooling solution for high volume manufacturing. From 2005 to 2008, he held positions as a product packaging engineer and R&D Staff Packaging engineer at RF Micro Devices in Greensboro, N.C.

He began his career in 1998 with Motorola as a flip chip assembly development group leader in the company's Austin, Tex. office and over the next six years held different positions within the company, including process development engineer in the firm's Tempe, Arizona location.

Sawyer earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1996, and an MBA and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young in 1998.
