Prolitec Names Shari Bjorn as a Director of National Sales


MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwire - May 2, 2012) - Prolitec Inc., a leading developer of air treatment, scenting and air care technologies for retailers and other industry sectors, today announced the appointment of Shari Bjorn, 48, as a director of national sales.

In her new position, Bjorn, who is based in the company's Seattle office, will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with national and regional retailers.

Bjorn comes to Prolitec with more than 20 years of experience in the in-store entertainment industry, working with such prominent clients as Nordstrom, Radioshack, F.Y.E., The Disney Stores, Fred Meyer Stores, J.C. Penney, and Ashley Furniture. Most recently, she was vice president, content sales at New York-based MediaPlace, a producer of in-store video (digital signage), advertising networks and branded lifestyle content for retail and hospitality companies.

Prior to that, she spent over six years as vice president, content sales for Seattle-based ScreenPlay, Inc. and Channel M, Inc., which designed and produced audio and visual imaging content solutions for in-store and online use for the retail, hospitality, and business services markets. This followed two years as director of sales operations for Microvision, Inc. Bjorn began her career in 1989 as national sales and marketing assistant for AEI Music Network, Inc./DMX and over the next 12 years rose through the ranks to become director of international sales development.
