MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwire - Mar 13, 2012) - Prolitec Inc., a global provider of ambient scenting technology and services, today announced the appointment of Todd Shaw, 47, as vice president of operations.
In his new position, Shaw, who is based in the company's Milwaukee headquarters, will manage client and field services, procurement, production, logistics, and facilities.
Shaw comes to Prolitec with more than 17 years' experience in operations and logistics management. Most recently, he was senior vice president of facility services and logistics at XE Services, LLC, a defense industry company, in Moycock, N.C., directing 12 departments with over 400 employees and contractors, and overseeing a 7,000-acre campus with over 90 structures. Prior to that, he was a division manager for Shorr Packaging Corporation, based in the company's Cincinnati office, responsible for five distribution centers in five states. Earlier, Shaw was vice president of operations for Corporate Express, also in Cincinnati, directing a five-facility hub and spoke distribution model in four states.
He began his career in 1989 with Unisource Worldwide in Milwaukee as a warehouse professional and over the next 14 years, rose through the ranks to become warehouse supervisor, warehouse manager, distribution manager, division operations manager and area operations manager based in the company's Minneapolis office.
