Prominent Atlanta Airport Hotel Joins Campaign to Assist Wounded Warrior Project

With the donation of refreshments and gift certificates for the fund-raising event's silent auction, the Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Airport West assisted in raising more than $14,000 for this worthy cause. This year's golf tournament was held April 28, 2012 at the Orchard Hills Golf Club in Newman, GA and proceeds from the event well exceeded last year's total of $12,000. The Wounded Warrior Project maintains a mission to honor and empower wounded warriors through the support of military men and women wounded while serving their country. To attain these goals the nonprofit organization provides unique and direct programs and services that ease the burdens of the wounded and their families, aid in the recovery process and aid in the transition back to civilian life.
