Prominent Canadian Invited to Address the Government of South Sudan on Moving Forward With the World's Newest Country

Rev. Cal Bombay with key contributors, financial donors, and educators on food security for those living in South Sudan, will address the GoSS (Government of South Sudan) on Tuesday April 26th in the capital city, Juba.

BRANTFORD, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 20, 2011) - CBM (Cal Bombay Ministries) and SFC (Savannah Farmers Cooperative) have worked together for many years to bring volunteer farming specialists from Canada to the south of Sudan to teach farming and processing of food for the hungry in small and large farm productions.

CBM, with the generous assistance of Canadians, financed consultations from agronomists and Canadian farmers working alongside the Nationals themselves.

CBM and supporters supplied not only the expertise, but also the equipment and indigenous managerial staff.

Cal Bombay shares the vision of the former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Central Equatoria State (Now Managing Director of SFC) to see the model of Agriproduction they started grow and flourish throughout all of South Sudan.

The guidance and advice of Cal Bombay, before and during the separation referendum in the Sudan, has made him a very close and trusted moral advisor as South Sudan designs the structure of the world's newest country.

Cal Bombay is honoured to be able to speak on such matters as human rights, gender equity, diversified job creation, urban planning, health and welfare and all that a new democratic government might plan, with many providing expert help, is in his view.

The speech is entitled, "Integrity versus Corruption in Government – A Moral Framework".

"What a wonderful opportunity the Government of South Sudan has for its people to have to build a fresh, brand-new country in the world with, commitment to seek a moral perspective as an ethical base" said Rev. Bombay.

Conversations and planning are underway to have Rev. Bombay establish and chair a new Foundation in Canada and another in South Sudan. An advisory council of top educators and specialists will ensure ongoing financing for growth management in Agriproduction throughout the nation.

"With so much upheaval and unrest in the world, what an opportunity to start afresh!" enthused Bombay.

"I am humbled and privileged to know of the trust and love the people have placed in me. With God's help I will not let them down!"

Such is the heart and commitment of Rev. Cal Bombay to the peoples of South Sudan.
