Prominent Media Exec Caroline H. Little Joins citybizlist Board

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Citybizlist, publisher of local business news in 11 U.S. cities, announced today that Caroline H. Little, former CEO of Guardian News & Media and Washingtonpost.Newseek Interactive, has joined the company's board of directors.

Ms. Little oversaw all U.S. operations for Guardian News, including paidContent.org, the leading publisher of media industry news. Earlier, she spent 12 years at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive as a senior executive, rising to CEO in 2004.

A graduate of New York University School of Law, Ms. Little served four years as Deputy General Counsel for U.S. News & World Report, The Atlantic Monthly and Fast Company. She started her career at the Washington, D.C.-based law firm of Arnold & Porter, where she specialized in telecommunications, real estate and general corporate law.

In addition to citybizlist, she is a director of the American Press Institute, and a member of the DC advisory board for The Posse Foundation and the Journalism Advisory Committee of The Knight Foundation.
