Live Broadcast and Video Workflow Demonstrations
The workflow at the PROMISE display features an ingest and playback station with PROMISE's VTrak A-Class with Clustered NAS Gateways, VTrak J5000 12G SAS and SANLink2 together with Primestream's FORK Production Suite for Asset Management and Automation. Features include a powerful MAM with tools to ingest live or file-based content, and edit integration with popular NLEs such as Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC (part of Adobe Creative Cloud®), and Apple Final Cut Pro X which are showcased in the editing and playback workstation at PROMISE's display. The third workstation will feature content delivery with Primestream Fork Xchange Suite and will leverage the VSky A-Series NAS for backup/archive with Archiware P5.

Additional highlights at the PROMISE display include the Pegasus2 Thunderbolt 2 RAID storage series, which will be featured in demos with Windows and Mac workstations; and Vess R2600 PRO, which is an audio/video optimized entry level NAS ideal for compressed workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Apple Final Cut Pro X.

"The demand for video content is accelerating, so naturally our customers want to create more content as fast as possible," said Simon Williams, senior director of business development at Adobe. "This growth in the industry has led us to innovate like never before and to collaborate with companies such as PROMISE to make everyday tasks for our customers easier and faster so they can push their creative boundaries."

"We are excited to demo our award-winning Archiware P5 with PROMISE at NAB 2015, and showcase how our solutions work together to offer cost effective, simple ways to synchronize, backup and archive media," said Dr. Marc Batschkus, Business Development Manager, Archiware. "P5 Synchronize can clone all PROMISE storage and create a fail-over solution in just minutes of setup time. Plus, with P5 Archive, customers can archive from PROMISE storage to LTO tape for ingest archive or use it to migrate rarely used files to lower performance disk storage."

"Thunderbolt 2 opens doors to new devices where performance, simplicity and flexibility all come together," said Jason Ziller, Marketing Director for Thunderbolt at Intel. "Intel is excited to see the proliferation of Thunderbolt 2 devices with PROMISE's introduction of Pegasus2 R2+ and SANLink2 16G FC, which bring new capabilities to broader markets."

"Our integration with PROMISE has proven to bring significant value, flexibility and control over the content creation process," says Robert Lisman, Director of Marketing at Primestream. "By combining the FORK automation and asset management software platform with the VTrak A-Class storage layer, Primestream and PROMISE are providing broadcasters and video professionals with a rock solid production environment for the most demanding media workflows."

"We are proud to see our drives showcased at NAB as part of PROMISE's innovative storage solutions for rich media and broader markets," said Kenneth Chang, Senior Director, Storage Product Business Unit, Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. "The combination of PROMISE systems with Toshiba drives, which offer outstanding reliability, power efficiency and performance, provides a great option for the high-bandwidth requirements of video production."

Additionally, PROMISE is now hosting a Facebook Photo Contest where one contestant will win the Pegasus2 M4 SSD. To enter the competition, contestants submit a photo showing how they would use the Pegasus2 M4 SSD and then upload their submission to http://woobox.com/k34j2n.
