Promotional Arts, Inc. Acquires Production Rights of the Sony PSP Software Display Case

CARROLLTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 11, 2006 -- Promotional Arts, Inc. announced that they received authorization from SCEA to produce a mock case for the Sony PSP software products. Promotional Arts, LLC was granted permission to produce the mock case for the Sony PSP software product by SCEA in June of 2005. After months of engineering and tooling, the Carrollton facility now holds a large inventory of final product for fulfillment and distribution.

The mock/display case is a replica of the actual product case that is used instead of placing the actual product on the sales floor. By using the display case, the retailer is able to reduce product loss from theft. Promotional Arts, Inc., also produces the insert sleeve for the game or movie that has a "Display Only" message imprinted on the front and back cover. With the case having the exact same outward appearance as the actual product case, the consumer is still able to read the pertinent information on the back of the case.

"We are thrilled that SCEA allowed us to produce the Sony PSP display case. We had received so many requests for the case from retailers; it seemed a natural fit. We kept the news quiet until we had final product and the equipment necessary to service our customers," stated Jana Coyle, President of Promotional Arts, Inc. "We now produce the only authorized PSP display case and we also have the only automated equipment to provide the fulfillment of the case. Bronway, Ltd. designed a one of a kind automated sleever specifically for the PSP display case. From our understanding, this is the only fully automated equipment that can package the PSP case and does so with amazing speed. Our current capacity is approximately 100,000 PSP cases per day, in addition to our standard case production of approximately 200,000 cases per day."

Promotional Arts, Inc., has been providing P.O.P. material to the entertainment industry for over 5 years. They currently produce display cases for almost every game that is released. By assisting retailers with reduction of theft and assisting video game publishers with promotions, Promotional Arts has been able to work with both groups to provide a smooth and efficient system.
