Protocall Technologies Announces 'TitleMatch,' New TV and Movie Point-of-Sale DVD Burning System

TitleMatch Offers Retailers, Etailers and Content Owners the Ability to Have a Virtual Inventory of Entertainment Titles That Can Be Burned On-Demand

COMMACK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 17, 2006 -- Protocall Technologies Incorporated (OTC BB: PCLI) www.protocall.com, innovator of virtual inventory systems for the retail marketplace, today announced its TitleMatch™ system, which will allow point-of-sale production of television and movie DVD titles in addition to consumer software titles.

Protocall's TitleMatch upgrade will offer the ability for retailers to have 100 percent in-stock availability from a virtual inventory of television and movie titles, which are burned onto DVD media with full color packaging at a retailer's store locations and/or Internet distribution centers after being purchased by consumers. Protocall is actively working with a number of major movie studios to include their television and movie content on the system. "We are very excited to announce that our system is being expanded to offer DVD titles and look forward to being able to offer our customers a broad range of entertainment products," said Donald Hoffmann, Chief Executive Officer of Protocall.

TitleMatch enables anyone in the business of selling entertainment and software products to increase product availability while reducing their dependence on physical inventories, one of the industry's largest cost categories.

At retail stores, consumers can browse and select available products from multi-media touch-screen display terminals located on the sales floor. Orders are produced behind the counter by store personnel in minutes using the system's order-fulfillment station. For on-line orders, consumers browse and select available titles from an etailer's website with orders produced at product distribution centers or store locations.

"Our goal is to be the leader in providing virtual inventory systems," said Mr. Hoffmann. "We see TitleMatch as a natural step in the expansion of our system."

Protocall created the on-demand digital content delivery category in 1999 and popularized it with CompUSA, which began using Protocall's SoftwareToGo® on-demand system at its stores in three U.S. markets in 2004. Products from over 200 software publishers are currently available on Protocall's system. The appeal of this new distribution channel to retailers and content owners puts Protocall in a leadership position as it expands usage of its virtual inventory systems.
