Provencher to Head Platform Sales for American Century Investments

Industry Veteran Andy Provencher Fills New Position

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwired - April 07, 2016) - American Century Investments has named Andy Provencher vice president and head of Platform Sales, a newly created position. In this role, he will lead the firm's client engagement efforts with research and portfolio construction teams at key intermediaries and financial institutions. Provencher will be a member of the Intermediary Sales leadership team, reporting to American Century Senior Vice President and Head of Intermediary Sales Joe Schultz.

Provencher joined American Century from BNY Mellon Investment Management, where he served as head of U.S. retail distribution. Prior to that, he was principal and head of business development for GBI, Inc.

Previously, Provencher served in a number of leadership positions with Neuberger Berman, including managing director and head of strategic relationships, intermediary distribution and the advisor solutions group. He began his professional career as an assistant portfolio manager and trader with Diamant Asset Management.

Provencher received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Fairfield University. He is a CFA charterholder.
