Providence College Partners With Paciolan to Implement Ticketing, Marketing and Fundraising

Partnership Offers New Customer-Friendly Features to Friar Fans

IRVINE, CA and PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwire - March 22, 2011) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing solutions in college athletics, announced that it has partnered with Providence College to implement the company's ticketing, marketing and fundraising systems for all Friar athletics programs. These include men's basketball, which is played at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, men's and women's ice hockey which are played at Schneider Arena, and women's basketball, which is played in Alumni Hall.

"We highly value our customers and season ticket holders and wanted to provide them with the very best ticketing system and experience available," Providence College Athletics Director Robert Driscoll said. "In reviewing the ticketing systems used by other successful BIG EAST schools, Paciolan clearly leads the way. We look forward to delivering an exceptional experience to our fans and donors."

Using the Paciolan ticketing system, Friar fans will be able to take advantage of additional technologies that will elevate customer services. Fans will be able to print tickets at home which will eliminate waiting in long will call lines. Providence will also transition from paper renewals to an integrated and convenient online renewal system for season ticket holders.

"The Paciolan system will allow us to raise the bar and create a more customer-friendly experience," said Steve Napolillo, Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. "We will now be able to allow season ticket holders to renew online, transfer unused tickets via email and receive tickets digitally. We couldn't be happier with the future direction with Paciolan."

The Paciolan PACMail email marketing system will allow Providence to enhance its communications with its season ticket holders and fans. PACMail will allow Providence to pull data from its customer database and send customized marketing letters to Friar fans and supporters to promote and create awareness of upcoming games and fundraising events.

The majority of season ticket sales for basketball include priority seating. With the new Paciolan system, Providence will be able to streamline important communication between the Ticket Office, the Athletics Development Office and other college departments to enhance overall efficiencies for the College as well.

"We're excited to welcome Providence College to our family of more than 100 colleges and universities throughout the U.S.," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We look forward to working with them to achieve their goals with our industry-leading ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions."
