Proxim Wireless Appoints Len Eisenstein Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas

SAN JOSE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 18, 2006 -- Proxim Wireless Corporation, a global provider of broadband wireless equipment and wholly-owned subsidiary of Terabeam, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRBM), today announced that Len Eisenstein has been appointed to serve as Senior Vice President of Sales for the Americas. In his role, Mr. Eisenstein will report directly to Pankaj Manglik, President and COO of Proxim Wireless.

Len Eisenstein brings to the company over 25 years' experience building and leading successful worldwide sales and sales support teams in the software, networking and telecommunications industries. He played a key management role in the acquisition of three companies for whom he worked by Cisco, Intel and Access Japan, respectively. Throughout his career, he has excelled at growing global sales to a wide range of strategic customers including major carriers, OEMs, VARs, and multinational corporations.

Prior to joining Proxim Wireless, Mr. Eisenstein served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for IP Infusion, the leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services platforms and a recent acquisition of Access Japan, a leader in the web browser market. Mr. Eisenstein has also held sales leadership and executive management positions with Larscom, Trillium Digital Systems (acquired in 2000 by Intel Corporation), Ariel Corporation, Dagaz Technologies (acquired in 1997 by Cisco Systems), Integrated Network Corporation, and Telco Systems. Mr. Eisenstein holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from City College of New York and an MBA from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business, New York.
