Proxim Wireless Expands Commitment to Customers in APAC and EMEA

'Follow the Sun' Technical Support Provides Significant Customer Benefits

SAN JOSE CA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2008) - Proxim Wireless Corporation (NASDAQ: PRXM), a leading provider of end-to-end broadband wireless networks that deliver the quadruple play, today announced that it has opened a new technical services support center, which will provide local time zone support for customers across the APAC and EMEA regions.

Based in Proxim's Development Center in Hyderabad, India, the new technical support facility will provide a number of benefits including live 24/7 technical support for customers with appropriate Proxim ServPak service contracts, improved response time and call back as well as logistical support for the company's ServPak support services.

Hyderabad is an emerging IT hub in India and, as such, gives Proxim Wireless access to the area's highly-skilled technology workforce, which will be able to provide superior technical support to the company's international customers. The new technical support center will serve two very strategic regions for Proxim, as approximately 50 percent of the company's current business comes from the APAC and EMEA markets.
