PSP Announces Appointment of Vice President Operations

KANATA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 14, 2008) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PSP) ("PSP"), a leader in the field of protective body armour and soldier systems equipment, today announced the appointment of Suzanne Larsen to the position of Vice President Operations, responsible for all Manufacturing Operations in Canada and the USA, effective July 14, 2008. Ms. Larsen holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa as well as American Production and Inventory Management certification. She has also participated in numerous work related training including LEAN/Six Sigma.

As part of her employment compensation, Ms. Larsen will receive 60,000 stock options of PSP Shares as and when approved by the Board of Directors of the Company.
