Ptch and Kaskade Team to Share "Freaks of Nature" Tour Highlights With Fans via Breakthrough Social Media Platform

GLENDALE, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 8, 2012) - Master of mashups and remixes, trailblazing DJ and producer Kaskade has partnered with Ptch to share his "Freaks of Nature" tour highlights to fans around the world.

Launched in July and born out of DreamWorks Animation, Ptch's iPhone app platform allows users to quickly and easily compose multimedia mashups up to 60 seconds in length using the photos, videos and music from their iPhones and social feeds. Kaskade is using Ptch, on his current US Tour to give fans a dynamic new way to experience his signature electronic sound and vibrant live dance music atmosphere. Kaskade recently embarked on his 40-plus-date North American tour, highlighted by an industry-first headlining set at Los Angeles' iconic STAPLES Center, which sold out more than a month in advance.

With Ptch, users can share all of their Ptches across social media channels, Kaskade's massive Twitter and Facebook fan community can enjoy these behind-the-scenes experiences and concert and festival footage from the artist. Additionally, Kaskade fans can download and join the Ptch community to interact with Kaskade as well as take a cue from the artist and remix, and mashup -- or "re-Ptch" -- his Ptches with their own styles and personalized content.
