MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - Primus Telecommunications Group, Incorporated (NYSE: PTGI), a global facilities-based integrated provider of advanced telecommunications products and services, announced today that Senior VP for Corporate Development and Chief Communications Officer Richard Ramlall, was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Communications or PR Campaign/Program of the Year - Investor Relations category at the 9th Annual International Business Awards ceremony October 15 in Seoul, South Korea.

The International Business Awards are the world's premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations -- public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2012 IBAs received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.
