Public Mobile Announces "Find the $10,000 Phone" Contest

Hear the Phone Ring, and Win!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2010) - Public Mobile is officially in the spirit of giving with the launch of its "Find the $10,000 Phone" contest. Starting December 6th in Montreal and December 13th in Toronto, residents are eligible to win a Public Mobile phone, 3 months free service and the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize in each city.

"This is our holiday gift to Canadians. We want to share in the holiday spirit by creating fun and excitement," said Alek Krstajic, Public Mobile CEO. "Although this is a happy time of the year, it also carries a heavy financial burden. That's why we're giving two lucky winners $10,000 to make this season a bit brighter."

To participate, listeners that tune into BOOM 97.3 FM in Toronto and NRJ 94.3 FM in Montreal will be provided with clues throughout the day that will lead them to a mystery location in the city between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. At that time, a hidden Public Mobile phone will ring and the first person to answer it will win a Kyocera G2Go phone plus three months of free service (unlimited talk and text with free Canadian long distance).

All winners of the Public Mobile phone giveaway will automatically qualify for the $10,000 grand prize in each city. On December 17th in Montreal and on December 18th in Toronto, the winners of the G2Go phones will gather together and one of their phones will ring. That person will win $10,000.
