Public Notice: Chaudiere Crossing - Lane Closures

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 16, 2015) - Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of alternating vehicle lane closures on the Chaudiere Crossing during the following periods:

• Monday, October 19, to Friday, October 23, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

These alternating closures will affect the Gatineau- and Ottawa-bound vehicle lanes. Flag persons will be on site for the duration of the closures to ensure that traffic can circulate in both directions.

Pedestrians and cyclists will not be affected by the lane closures.

These lane closures are necessary to conduct the annual inspection of the bridge.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
