Public Safety Minister Toews Comments on the Arrest of Terror Suspect Wanted by the United States

Suspect part of FBI investigation into an April 2009 suicide bombing in Iraq that claimed the lives of five American soldiers

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2011) - Today, the Honourable Vic Toews, Minister of Public Safety made the following statement following the arrest of Sayfildin Tahir Sharif in Edmonton: 

"I would like to commend the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for their work in collaborating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the arrest of Sayfildin Tahir Sharif.
