CFP Professionals Across Canada Offering Free Informational Seminars During Financial Planning Week (October 4-10)

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 5, 2010) - Certified Financial Planner® professionals from Victoria to Charlottetown are offering free financial planning informational seminars to Canadians during Financial Planning Week (October 4–10).

These local events will be conducted by CFP professionals who are volunteering their time for Financial Planning Week.

Financial Planning Week is being spearheaded by Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC), a not–for–profit organization dedicated to ensuring the financial needs of Canadians are well served. FPSC encourages Canadians to improve their financial literacy and get started towards a lifetime of financial wellness by attending a Financial Planning Week Health Check Up event in their community. Events will be held across Canada to demonstrate the value of financial planning to an individual's financial and emotional well-being.
