Helicopter familiarization flights for military members and their families will occur over the Halifax-Shearwater area as part of Family Day activities on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
12 Wing Shearwater holds a Family Day every summer to welcome its new members and their families following the posting season. The event is an opportunity for our families to meet new friends and co-workers through a variety of activities.
Familiarization flights are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety at all times.
