Public Service Announcement: Military Vehicles Returning from Exercise TRILLIUM RESPONSE 2013

COCHRANE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2013) - The public is advised to expect a high volume of Canadian Forces vehicles travelling on Highway 11 and 634 from Otter Rapids to Cochrane between 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., February 22^nd, 2013, returning from Exercise TRILLIUM RESPONSE 2013.

Traffic is advised to be extremely patient and cautious as the convoy will consist of vehicles comprising of Light Armoured Vehicles, Heavy Logistics Vehicle Wheeled, chartered buses, and transport trucks.

Exercise TRILLIUM RESPONSE 2013 was the name for Joint Task Force Central's annual field training exercise aimed at developing and maintaining the capability and expertise to conduct various operations in remote areas and austere conditions. This year's exercise focused on a Defence of Canada scenario in a remote area of Northern Ontario, and took place from February 11 to 21, 2013, although personnel were in location from February 8 up to the 26, 2013.
