Public Service Announcement: Power outage in St Andrew's Tower

The message below is intended for Justice Canada employees in the greater Ottawa Gatineau area.

Grateful if you could deliver the following information in your 5-9 am slot on Monday, August 8th:

Power outage in St Andrew's Tower

Due to a complete power outage in St. Andrew's Tower at the corner of Kent and Sparks streets in downtown Ottawa, the building will not be accessible to Justice Canada and other employees on Monday August 8th.

Please note that the power outage DOES NOT affect operations at the neighbouring East Memorial Building. Justice employees who work at the East Memorial Building must report to work.

St. Andrew's Tower employees are required to contact their managers to make alternate work arrangements. A return to full operations is anticipated by Tuesday, August 9th.

Employees should call 1-877-587-2666 prior to reporting to work on Tuesday to confirm the St. Andrew's Tower is accessible.
