Public Service Announcement: RCAF CF-18 Hornet to Flyby Hamilton Tiger-Cats Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Game


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 29, 2015) - A Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornet will conduct a flyby over Tim Hortons Field around 1 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2015.

The flyby will coincide with the start of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Game.

The aircraft will fly over the stadium at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest point of their route before resuming a higher flying altitude for its return trip to 3 Wing Bagotville.

At the request of the Canadian Football League, RCAF aircraft have conducted these flybys at Tiger-Cats and other Canadian Football League stadiums each year for more than a decade. These flybys are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety at all times.
